Alison Weisburger recently completed her master's degree with the Scott Polar Research Institute at the University of Cambridge, where she wrote a dissertation titled Indigenous Knowledge in International Arctic Governance Regimes. Prior to that, she graduated magna cum laude from Bowdoin College, where she received a B.A. in Anthropology with an emphasis in Arctic Studies. Alison has worked extensively with the Peary-MacMillan Arctic Museum and Arctic Studies Center as a research assistant, tour guide, and archaeological laboratory assistant. During the summer of 2009, she traveled to northwest Greenland as a field crew member for the Inglefield Land Archaeology Project. Her research interests include international cooperation in the Arctic, indigenous issues, and natural resource development in the High North.
