The Arctic Institute is excited to offer a preview of its upcoming Interactive Arctic Map. This preview version displays the approximate Exclusive Economic Zones of the five Arctic coastal states, lists various border disputes, and visualizes the shipping routes through the Arctic. The Interactive Arctic Map represents a graphic interface and will provide information on oil and gas leasing areas, drilling activity, potential continental shelf extensions, shipping activity, ice extent and much more.
